Finding a practitioner that suits your needs is important to ensure you feel safe & heard. At Kemp Town Counselling, we only recommend other practitioners if they demonstrate excellence, professionalism & aptitude. Each therapist has a specialism and would welcome contact from you to discuss your therapy needs.

Loss, bereavement, depression, anxiety, difficult relationships, and changes in self and life beyond our control can all bring us to a place where we are distressed, overwhelmed and in need of help. Feelings can spill out into our lives, and things can feel out of control or barely contained under the surface. We can feel stuck in a cycle of negative feelings, thoughts and actions, or lost without choice or agency in our lives as other people's needs and voices over-rule us.

Ruth offers professional, compassionate and non-judgemental humanistic therapy to help reduce distress and work towards creating ease and space in your life. You'll work together to look at those difficult issues that are at the root of your distress, in a safe and holding environment where you always have someone on your side.
